The Lismore Festival Committee was established in 2002 to organise an annual festival of international standard, which was to be held in Lismore on the last weekend of June each year. This festival became the Immrama Festival Of Travel Writing.

The festival includes 3 very full days of arts, music and cultural activities for all interests and ages. Music, literature, readings, theatre performances (street and indoor), exhibitions, art, history, photography and competitions are just a number of the activities that will be going on throughout the weekend.
