The Eleanor Howard Pottery has been located in Lismore since 1992 and produces high quality hand thrown domestic ware on the premises at Main Street. The shop is open 7 days a week during summer and 6 days a week during the rest of the year. Orders can be placed in the shop and take approximately three weeks to fill, depending on the size of the order.

The pottery is made from red earthenware and pieces are finished with either a white glaze with self patterned detail or a blue star/swirl motif. It is possible to observe the complete process of ceramic production on a daily basis in the friendly atmosphere of the workshop.

Domestic ware items produced include dinner service items as well as lamps, large bowls, platters and various table/household accessories.

Each pottery item is finished with a simple incised pattern and combined with the very lightweight finish achieved in the throwing process this lends a timeless elegance to the range.

Potter Eleanor Howard has designed and produced this stylish pottery since 1990 and recently handed over production in the Lismore shop to Eoin Foley.
